Children

Children are always welcome at First Presbyterian Church in worship. Books, coloring sheets, puzzles and worship bulletins are available for children and their people to use to enhance your worship experience. You can find these items on the “Choose Your Own Adventure” carts found in the lobby and in the back of the Sanctuary.

During the programming year, from September-May, preK-5th grade children are invited to join us for Follow Me Time during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Led by background-checked and trained teachers, Follow Me Time includes crafts, Bible stories, music, and more to engage children in learning about God’s love and what it means to live our our faith in the world. Instructions for when children are dismissed to Follow Me Time can be found in our printed Sunday program. Parents may pick up their children at their classroom in the Education wing of First Presbyterian Church after worship.

Infant & Toddler Childcare

First Presbyterian Church is a welcoming community and children are a gift to us! On Sunday mornings, we provide childcare for infants, toddlers, and PreK children who are not ready for Follow Me Time. Childcare is provided during our 9:30 a.m. adult education groups, and our 10:30 a.m. worship service. We welcome the sounds and stirrings of children in worship. They are a gift!
