On September 13, Rev. Jerusha will begin leading our second year of book discussion groups using “We Make the Road by Walking” by Brian McLaren. Described as a brilliant retelling of the biblical story and a thrilling reintroduction to Christian faith, the book “We Make the Road by Walking” by Brian McLaren is described as a guide to exploring the difference that an honest, living, growing faith can make in our world today.
You do not have to be a member of our church, or any church, to join the discussion groups. If you are trying to find a way forward with your faith—or if you are actively excavating the ways religion has impacted your life, both negatively and positively—or you are learning about faith for the first time, this journey is for you.
All groups accommodate remote participation via Zoom, and you can register using the qr code below. Books are available in the church office for $12. (A Kindle version is available online and through EVPLibrary’s Hoopla app.) For more information, email jerusha@fpcevv.com.
